Analysis: Kanno took care of the dirty work in the midfield, filling the stat sheet in that regard, but also paced his side in attempts alongside Abdulelah Al-Amri, as Saudi Arabia didn't generate a lot of offense in this one. He's set to be a fixture of the midfield and a two-way contributor for the rest of the tournament. He put up five goals and six assists in 44 tilts with Al-Hilal in 2025/2026.

He did earn 1 goal contribution in the Saudi Pro League, so he does hold the quality to make a game-changing play.
