He only got a chance to complete seven passes as Ghana were not able to retain much of the ball. He covered nearly nine kilometers and was instrumental in stopping England attacks from the flank.

He helped his side keep a clean sheet as he won five duels, won three tackles, made two clearances, blocked one shot and intercepted one pass in a surprisingly busy day on defense. Despite keeping Panama scoreless, Senaya and the defense still allowed four shots on target and two big chances, a somewhat concerning result considering Panama's stature. He faces a much more difficult matchup Tuesday versus England, a side which put four past Croatia in the opening match.
